Steve Jobs' health issue - スティーブジョブズ氏の健康状態
↓これがドイツでのアップルの株が10％も下がってしまう原因になったとされるスティーブがスタッフ宛に書いたノート。
Team,
At my request, the board of directors has granted me a medical leave of absence so I can focus on my health. I will continue as CEO and be involved in major strategic decisions for the company.
I have asked Tim Cook to be responsible for all of Apple's day to day operations. I have great confidence that Tim and the rest of the executive management team will do a terrific job executing the exciting plans we have in place for 2011.
I love Apple so much and hope to be back as soon as I can. In the meantime, my family and I would deeply appreciate respect for our privacy.

経営陣にお願いして、自分の健康回復に集中するための休職の許可をもらいました。引き続きCEOとしてやっていくつもりですし、主要な戦略の決断などは、今後も引き続き私がします。
日々のアップルの運営については、tim cookにお願いしました。timをはじめその他の経営陣が2011年アップル社の現行の素晴らしいプロジェクトの数々をしっかりと支えていってくれると思っています。
私はアップル社を非常に愛しています。仕事に復帰できるとなってすぐに戻って来られるよう願っています。その間は、家族共々、私と家族のプライバシーを尊重してくれるようお願いします。

アップルCEOのスティーブジョブズ氏のkeynote speechは必ず観るようにしているけど、なんだか最近、どう見たっておかしいよな～と思ってました。同じように感じてた方は多いのではないでしょうか。
特に、健康な20代の若者が、癌を患い、治療をうけ、病状が進み、亡くなるまでを間近で"体感"してきたわたくしとしては、スティーブジョブズ氏の変化をとても案じていたりしました。
体重も減ってしまったようですし、ピリピリ／ピキピキ神経を尖らせているように見受けられたり、きっと体調が優れていたら、ご自分がプレゼンをしていたのだろうな～というところで、他の人間にプレゼンをバトンタッチしたり、息切れのようなものをしているようであったり、ウィットに富んだノリでプレゼンを楽しみながら進めていくような空気はすっかり減り、何と言うか、struggleされているような、それを必死で隠して乗り越えようと闘っているような感じがしてました。
スティーブジョブズ氏って全身全霊でアップルという会社を愛しているんだろうな～。この愛情にわたくしは心が動かされる思いがいたします。
