礼子さんの「カラス物語」再び・・です。
まずは、日本語の元の原稿です。
また主人の話ですが 4月29日に主人が小雀を助けました。
カラスが小雀をくわえていたので ｢待て！ 放せ！｣
と主人が言ったら
カラスがすぐ放して飛んで行きました。巣から落ちたのかと辺りを見回したけど見当たらないので連れ帰ったのです｡ 小雀は
あまりにも小さいのでパンを水で 柔らかくしてスポイトで少しづつ与えました。主人が小雀に近づくとピーピーと小さなくちばしを開けてました。可愛かったです。
追記
残念ながら6日目に旅だってしまいました。やっぱり野鳥を世話するのは難しいですね。
(あとで分かったのですが雀ではなく羽根の中が若草色のヒワでした。)
This is my husband's and the crow's story again.
On April 29th, my husband helped the sparrow.
A crow was holding a small sparrow in its mouth, so my husband yelled, "Wait! Let it go!"
The crow immediately released it and flew away.
He looked around to see if it had fallen from its nest, but he couldn't find it, so he took it home.
It was too small, so we softened the bread with water and gave it little by little with a dropper.
When my husband touched the sparrow, it opened its small beak and cheeped cutely.
It was so pretty.
Unfortunately, it passed away after six days. After all, we realized that it is difficult to take care of wild birds.
(I found out later that it was not a sparrow, it was A goldfinch bird that has bright green feathers inside )
口にくわえる は、なかなか急に出てこない英文です。
このチャンスに覚えておきたいです。
放して！＝ let me go 映画などで羽交い締めされた役者が言う言葉ですね・・
巣から落ちたのかどうか。。 if ~ を使った英文、これも慣れたいですね。

I love your story, Reiko. Your husband was smart to yell at the crow and scare it away. I’m glad you were able to feed and comfort the little bird in its final days. Nature is so amazing!

ご主人がカラスに大声を出して追い払ったことは賢明でしたね。
小鳥の最後の時まで、餌をあげてお世話をしてあげれたのは良かったですね。
自然の力って本当にすごい。
I think there are pros and cons about how to deal with wild birds, so I will avoid that point and concentrate on how to use English.
