So I'm currently back home in Greece for a few days, it's 8 AM and trying to sleep after a long day of travel. A neighbour passes with her dog while my mom is feeding the cats outside. She starts making snarky remarks, saying she feels "no pity at all for all those *things* you've stacked in your yard", referring to the cats. My mom sulked out of politeness, my eyeballs turned from sudden anger and I yelled at the neighbour from my bed, half asleep (doubt she heard me) but I got so pissed I couldn't go back to sleep 😹 Bad timing, I had to be downstairs to have a word 🗡 Stuff like that makes me remember why I left this place.
