No, I'm not talking about Vouli. I'm talking about my uncle's cat.

He was rescued from a stray animal house when he was a kitten and he grew up to be a truly august animal.
I could swear he was a mix of Wild Cat and a humble breed.
Everytime I saw him, he never failed to surprise me with his peaceful, imposing aura and his child-like eyes, which resembled to a human's. He was the biggest cat I'd ever seen in Greece, but also the most loving and sweet. He was no normal cat. By now, I believe he was an old and wise human spirit, in a feline form.
This planet was too toxic for such a regal form of life.

He weighed more than 10kgs and lived less than 10 years.

[His facial expression is priceless xD ]
He suffered from cancer for a long time, to the point that the doctors would not take the responsibility to conduct an operation on him again. However, he never complained and he lived his life happily, until his last breath.

Last time I saw him, his lower back was wrapped with a kitchen towel, because his cancer made his skin bleed non-stop. In the end, he could no longer eat, or climb or even move. He must have been suffering terribly,, but he looked at us stoically as ever.
I called him Dalay Cat (after Dalay Lama) and he really lived up to his name.
Today, they had arranged to put him to sleep with a lethal shot, but as if he knew, he crawled next to my cousin, purring happily and he breathed his last in his lap. There and then. Now, he is sleeping under the pines, near the sea.
Rest in Peace. Dalay Cat☆
