海外から、俺の安否が心配してくれて、今だ、メールが来ます。
心配してくれてありがたいです。
日本の現状です。

I received many messages from people from abroad since earthquakes and tsunami hit Japan in March 11.

Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. Fortunately, my house is away from sea shore and I am doing okay.

However, lots of people lost their houses, family and friends, and even their
home town because of tsunami. It is really a hideous tragedy.

There are relief supplies send to afflicted areas, but some places lack food
and water as time goes by. They need continuous help.

People who reside close to the nuclear power plants are under threat of
radiation poisoning.

Water in Tokyo, Ibaraki, and other regions within 120mile radius from nuclear power plants are contaminated with radiation.

We are told by the government not to make baby formula with tap water because
it may cause nursing infants get sick.

Farmers were told to throw their vegetables away because they are contaminated.

We have to be aware of the fact that we are still in the middle of very serious
crisis.

こんな中、日本も大変ですが、 頑張ります。
