Payment term / 支払期間
契約書や請求書に記載されている支払期間は、日常的によく利用する言葉です。支払期間を超えて、ARなどが滞留している場合には、リスクを特定しやすくなります。
例：
- Per the latest invoice, the Comapny's ordinal payment term is net 60 days. The cutomer can obtain some discounts if they make payment within 60 days.
- The cutomer has not made any payment for this sales transaction eventhoug the payment term was 30 days. As such, the Comapny identified the risk for collection from this customer.
Payment termは、会社のビジネスによってまちまちですが、会計・税務においては、リスク評価のための重要な視点となりますので、しっかりと使いこなせるようになりましょう。
