今年2月20日のサッカー東アジア選手権での「日本対中国」戦。
それはラフプレーのオンパレード。 元フランス代表のジダンは
中国ではプレーしたくない、 と親善試合への参加を断わった
のも有名な話です。
さてここでは 「Yｏｕｔｕｂｕ」に掲載された海外の皆さんの
コメントに注目 してみました。

it surely doesnt look pretty, but why it ONLY happened to
apanese team? I think there was more hate than the sport itself
which shouldnt have happened, but, let me put it this way,
if china invaded Japan, would the Japanese be very nice to
the Chinese team? if something you cant do yourself, better not
to be so harsh on others.
確かに美しいプレーには見えませんが、それがなぜ、日本チームに
だけに起こった出来事なのでしょうか？私はそれは単にスポーツ
そのものの問題 ではなく、起きるべきことではないとは考えるが、
もし中国が日本へ 侵略したなら、日本は中国チームへ良い印象を
持ちますか？ 自分自身がうまくプレーできないから、相手に不快な
態度を示すのは良いことではありません。

tzhou, mate thats not an argument - you say its only the japanese
team - thats true - but japan isnt the only country to have ever
invaded another country. watch euro 2008 - half the countries
there (france poland etc) were invaded during ww2 by germany,
but the german team doesnt get anything but respect, even after
the atrocities such as the holocaust. even closer to home - japan
was not only invaded but taken over by the US,
but the japanese fans dont take it out on their football team

半数の国々（例えばフランス、ポーランド など）は第二次世界大戦中に
ドイツに侵略されました。 しかしドイツチームは、大虐殺のような
残虐行為を過去行ったが 何も批判的なことは受けずに、むしろ尊敬
の意を受けています。日本は侵略を行った唯一の国ではなく、
またアメリカに侵略を 受けましたが日本人のファンはその感情を
アメリカの サッカーチームなどへ持ち込むことはありません。

i dont believe in karma...i am a christian, but is it a debt from\
japanese because of massacre on chinese people...and god will
eventually let japanese repay for that...not neccessarily life but kicks,
beat...on japanese?

少なくとも日本人は中国人より熱い気持ちを持っていた。

過去の歴史を繰り返さないことが、現代に生きる我々日本人の
使命であることは言うまでもありません。
しかし日本人は、ほんと不思議なほどに、戦争に対する感情を
スポーツの現場には持ち込みませんね。
各国の代表選手には、国という枠を超え
「感動を与える素晴らしいプレー」を是非期待したいものです。
