[Journal Challenge: Day 467] Things I need to stop
I need to stop being wrapped up in my work on the computer,
and losing track of time.
Looking back on the last few years,
I had a bad habit of food.
It was eating kuromame-senbeis, chocolates and
Häagen-Dazs macha ice cream.
I was particular about senbeis.
Once I started eating them while watching movies on Netflix,
I couldn’t stop them.
Before I knew it, I ate all a bag of kuromame-senbeis.
I was always fascinated by Macha ice cream in the freezer.
Now I can say that I completely kicked that bad habit.
One year and a half have passed since I last bought them.
"A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips"
or you can say
"A moment on the lips, forever on the hips."
My note:
Eating a balanced diet,
going to bed early,
or working out three times a week are all habits—
and good ones at that.
In general, a habit is a repeated practice or routine
that is usually hard to give up.
Good habits are behaviors
that benefit your mental and/or physical health.
