And now, living in Sweden, I've discovered yet another of my favourite foods doesn't translate well with the locals – crunchy peanut butter and little pickled cornichons on toast (needless to say, I won't be offering that to my guests anytime soon). But, I somehow suspect this slightly peculiar combination is less British and more unique to my upbringing. If you have any nostalgic or unusual food pairings you love to eat, I'd love to hear about them.
If peanut butter with gherkins doesn't float your boat, then maybe these chocolate and peanut butter crispy bites will pass your palate test? This recipe is also a great way of using up the last of those chocolate bunnies or eggs that have been rolling around your cupboard since Easter...
