さて、お盆には毎年
花火大会があるのですが、
Well, in bon there are fireworks displays, however
開始時間直前で雨。
It was starting to rain just before the fireworks displays was about to begin.
台風11号の影響で一生懸命河原を整備したのにそれも崩れたりして、
時間がなくて急ピッチで頑張ったそうなのに(T_T)
The river location weren't set out very well because of typhoon No.11.
That's why the planning committee hastened the pace of preparation for the fireworks displays.
地元の観光会の役員さんの
A board of the local tourist agency said,
「絶対開催します。私が雨男でごめんなさーい(/Д`;」
”The fireworks displays holds! I am sorry I'm always bring rain.”
と、アドリブ感たっぷりの挨拶で
ちょっと小降りになった時に始まった花火大会。
I thought his improvisation was good.
When the weather turned the drizzle, the fireworks displays started.
でも、すぐ土砂降りに(;ω;)
However, It was raining cats and dogs soon after it.
帰る人も多かったのですが、
Many people took off for home.
観光会長さんの情熱に感動したので、最後まで見てました(^^;;
We watched the whole the thing because we are moved by considerable spirit of the local tourist agency.
なかなか、雨の中見れる機会もないし
I thought I was able to get the chance to see fireworks in the rain.
大雨でも花火はあがるんですね（≧∇≦）
雨の花火も悪くなかったです。びしょ濡れでなければですが（笑）
Fireworks are shooted off even if it rained heavily.
I can do worse than fireworks if I'm drenched by in the rain.
見る人が少なかったのでかわいそうだったかな～(´Д` )せっかくなのに
I felt pity for a paucity of viewers.
After all their hard work…
花火大会以外は、なんとか天気もいいときもあり。
The weather was good now and then.
すーさんも泳げた
Sue-san was able to swim.
帰ったら必ず買ってくる

高菜漬けのおにぎりです。
名前は”寿司”ですが、酢飯はつかいません。
Mehari-zushi is one of my country dishes.
This is a wrapped rice ball at pickle of takana. By ”shushi” we don't mean vinegared rice.
I buy it when I went to my hometown.
うますです(^o^)It tastes good.
