But what on earth am I blogging here for? To make money if possible? No. It's so unrealistic. Nor would it be very profitable. I should do something else to make enough money. So I'm also investing. What is it for that I'm blogging, then? Just to kill time? Fortunately or unfortunately, I have no time to kill. Time is money, you know. To become a popular blogger, then? What's the use of it? Would it make me rich enough to be financially independent? Certainly not. There are so many bloggers here in Japan - tens of millions or more? - that it would be impossible for me to become a top blogger here. So I have no intention whatsoever of becoming one. If I ever wanted to be one, then I should first write in Japanese because most users here are Japanese. Yes, the fact that I'm writing in English only prevents my blog from being read by many people in Japan. But it doesn't matter to me at all because I employ English to make myself easily understood by as many people in the world as possible. The only question now is how to break the barrier. So far I've shared the link to my blog with my friends on Facebook, some of whom, including two from Anglosphere, are from other countries. But are they reading my blog? God only knows. Haha. Anyway, I just can't spend time and energy writing only for those who understand only Japanese. Blogging in Japanese would just limit my audience to only those who understand Japanese. There's nothing exciting about it at all. What in the world have I learned English for? Why try to write something great in Japanese and wait patiently for it to be translated into many languages to be read worldwide sometime in the distant future? Nonsense. It's just a waste of time.
So, aside from my blog, have I written anything to present to the world? This is the very question to be asked. The answer is yes. I have a manuscript yet to be published and I'm making preparations for meeting with some publishers in Munich, Germany next year. Bring my manuscript in English to Germany, where they publish books in German? Yeah. Do you have a problem with that? I have a plan.
Well, everyone, whatever language you are writing in, be ambitious and try your best to be creative or informative so that you can live happily without being replaced by AI. You and I weren't born for nothing!
