They say time and tide wait for no man, so I'm busying myself making preparations for flying to Germany before it's too late. Most people in Japan are completely indifferent to the horrible prediction and I'm the last person in Japan to try to advise them to be prepared for it. As the saying goes, you can take a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink. That being said, I'm sharing the information with some Japanese people, two of whom are Catholics and seem to be beginning to make preparations for survival. I sincerely hope that those who will listen to the warning will successfully survive the worst disaster in Japanese history. As for the rest, they should know that heaven helps those who help themselves.
