Today I have 420 days left until 5 July 2025, when it is predicted that Japan will be devastated by the greatest earthquake and tsunami ever. We are nearing it day by day. Even if most people here in Japan are indifferent to the prediction, I'm so interested in it that I can't help making preparations for survival.

A few days ago I was planning to fly to Trieste, Italy late next June or early next July to reduce the risk of being killed in the predicted disaster, but today Frankfurt am Main, Germany has replaced the Italian city on the Adriatic. Frankfurt is the birthplace of Goethe, whom I've admired for over three decades now, and so once there I'd only feel very comfortable. I also hear that German people aren't so reluctant to speak English as the French and the Italians are and that would be convenient to me though of course I'd always try my best to make myself understood in German. Wherever I am, English is the universal language I always feel I need to be proficient in, but I've learnt German, French and Italian and I'd be very happy to speak them in the EU countries where they are spoken.

As you know, Germany was once so anti-Semitic and even today there are still some neo-Nazis there, but if I succeeded in moving to Frankfurt next year, then of course I'd never say yes to anti-Semitism. On the contrary, I'd take every opportunity to talk with German people about the validity of Genesis 12:3 so that as many Germans as possible will know the biblical truth that those who bless the Jewish people will be blessed and that those who curse them will be cursed. That would only make us all - the Germans, the Jewish and me - successful.

War has been fought between Russia and Ukraine for two years now and neither side seems at this point to surrender. As someone planning to leave Japan in a year, I hope NATO will never declare war on Russia and that the EU will never be closed to this peace-loving Europhile from the Far East. May the time arrive soon when our heavenly Father makes use of me to benefit both the Europeans and the Jewish people in any way possible. Amen.
