4月頃かな、UKの音楽チャンネルVH1が『ベスト・リリック』を決める一般投票を行なったところ、U2の 「One」がトップに選ばれました。
この投票にはおよそ１万3,000人の視聴者が参加。
「One Life With Each Other, Sisters, Brothers」の部分が１番人気となりました。
このほか、ザ・スミスの「How Soon Is Now?」、ニルヴァーナの「Smells Like Teen Spirit」が、トップ３。
コールドプレイ、エミネム、レディオヘッドの曲が10位に入りました。
