また、雨天でも安心して撮影が出来る事、日陰が多いので日中の撮影が楽である事もお勧めの点です。
ヘアーメイクもラッフルズの日系のサロンでできるのでそのまま撮影に入る事ができますので、写真だけのフォトウェディングも可能です。
また、シンガポールではフォトジャーナリズム的なスタイルも受け入れられているので、現地のスタッフやコーディネーターさんもフォトグラファーの仕事にとても理解があり仕事がとてもしやすいですね。

I am so happy to be shooting portraits at one of my favorite hotels again.
It is also much easier to work as a freelancer for wedding and portrait photos in Singapore compared to Japan.
In Japan, most wedding venues prefer to work only with in-house talent for everything, including photos, so it is very difficult for freelancers such as myself.
In fact, Japanese venues prefer to coordinate the entire wedding affair, no need for an outside wedding coordinators at all. So many Japanese venues even charge wedding parties extra if they want to bring in their own wedding photographers or their own wedding dresses!
Though having these venues can be convenient, they also cut down a customer's options and they sometimes overcharge.
Despite all of that, I still love shooting portraits in Japan, love adjusting the shoot around the four beautiful seasons.
So far, I do not need to think about all of those things while I am in Singapore, and will instead continue to enjoy my stay here and will upload some newer photos eventually.
