楽しい夜でした

アンドリューさんの奥様のお母さんが
ベジタリアン」と言う事です
お店を探すのに少し考えましたが
私も、湯葉料理は余り経験が無かったですが
ヘルシーな料理で体には良いらしいです
このお店は著名人も来られるらしいです」

Last night, I enjoyed a wonderful evening with the Andrew family—friends from Australia with whom we now have a close, family-to-family relationship. (The person whose face is blurred in the photo is their eldest son, Miles.)

We chose a restaurant specializing in *yuba* (tofu skin) because Andrew’s mother-in-law is a vegetarian. It took some thought to find the right place—I hadn’t had much experience with *yuba* cuisine myself—but it’s a healthy, wholesome option. Apparently, this restaurant is even frequented by celebrities!

This is Andrew’s second visit to Japan this year. He drives a Suzuki Alto Turbo RS, which he uses for track driving in Australia. He exclusively uses tuning parts from KC-TECHNICA for his car; he has purchased so many over the years that we’ve become like family.

A few years ago, he even invited my grandchild to his home—he has been incredibly kind to us. My English is non-existent, so I rely heavily on Google Translate—thankfully, my grandchild is fluent in English, which makes things much easier!

It’s amazing to think that the Suzuki Alto Turbo RS (and the Alto Works) are being driven on racetracks all the way over in Australia. Japanese *kei* cars (light automobiles) are truly impressive!
