題名は、『The search for stability』、ここで題名にとまどう。ふつう、環境問題は「sustainability」(サステナビリティー、SDGsのS、持続性)を使う。stabilityは安定性、でも、「安定への探求」という題名では、本タイトルは環境問題に結びつかない。stableの名詞形なので『環境の固定化、安定化への挑戦』はどうか。含意を取って、並列でもかまわないか。→課題。
第１稿『The biggest picture』、私がpictureを索引すると、「description/idea,mental image」という見出しがある。「全体のイメージ」という訳とする。
サブタイトル。

長いので私は、区切ってみる。

一見、8th step「国を超えた問題。」に対するレポートである。この副題に関しては間違いないでしょう。
