January 26th of 2024, I am now 21 years old. Another year of remembering my birth. I have also grown a wisdom tooth on my lower left side of my gums. A birth of a new tooth! And it seems like Mumei also reached 1M subs on YouTube on this date! Congratulations to the cutest owl!
Moving forward, this date also shows me death.
On January 26th, on my 21st birthday, my beloved father is now resting in peace. I thank everyone who gave their prayers and helped us in any way they can, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will not talk about my dad's sudden passing but instead I want to brag to everyone the best things he did and that he is world's best dad!
He cooks the most delicious food! My favorite is his monggo soup with chicharon, paksiw, nilagang baboy, and ampalaya with egg! He cooks me breakfast, he also makes my lunch.
He is the best driver! He drove me even to the farthest electronic shops whenever I broke my gadgets. He helped me when I buy snacks for my overseas friends and drove me to deliver my package to my friend. He picks me up whenever I' m late from school.
He's my great inspiration and my best instructor! He taught me how to make origami bird! I can still do it now! He is the core reason why I became an artist! I am inspired by him and taught me all his skills! He helped me learn electrical stuffs, he helped me learn carpentry, gardening, and other dad skills that I can assure him that I can help my family even if he's no longer with us. The last time I was able to make him proud of me about this stuff is when I fixed our extension outlet morning after he was discharged from the hospital XD
When I was a kid, he let me sit with him and hold my hands and guide them when he's practicing playing drums! This inspired me to become a drummer when I grow up and I am so happy that I was able to show him my progress and he was so proud of me!
He spoil us and buy us toys when we were kids (my mom wouldn't allow it, she prioritizes foods over toys XD)
He makes the corniest dad jokes but they're still funny XD
He gives the warmest headpats and forehead kisses
He knows my personality more than myself
He the recycle king! I'm his apprentice 😹
We are partners in crime 😹
He loves pets!
He supports my shenanigans! He put K-on! sticker on his helmet, he laughed with me when I was watching funny seiyuu videos on YouTube (one was Kaorin and Furi rolling traveling bags on stage 😹), he watches with me when I' m watching Aqours lives, he watched Princess Mononoke with me and my family, we watched Burn The Witch together!
I love oversized clothes so he let me borrow his clothes and even shoes 😂
There are still lots of great things that he did as my world's best dad that I'll keep and cherish to myself.
He's not a perfect dad but he's the sweetest, the funniest, the greatest dad in the whole world! I know he loves us and he's proud of me and I'm glad I was able to say I love you before he left in this world . I still have lots of things to do and show to make him proud of me but I'll save it and make sure to tell him lots of stories when it's time for me to come to him.
On January 26th of 2024, I ate a slice of my birthday cake without my dad.
