各部門のえげつないシーン多いので
子供とみてはいけません
あのシーン、このシーンがなければ
子供とみても面白いのになぁ 仕方ないので
深夜に見るしかありません
曲とキャストがまず最高
日本のテクノシーンを牽引する石野卓球大先生が音楽を担当してるらしく
泥臭いシーンもテクノテイストの痺れるサウンドトラックがかかると
急に全部かっこよくみえちゃう
音楽が最高のドラマでした
また本当の事件に絡めているし
近所も出てきていて
現実味が増す
自転車で渋谷まで行く用事があり、
まさに恵比寿から渋谷に行く途中でドラマで出てきた
ライフの前を通って、ますます現実味が増す
なりすましの島崎さんのセリフ、めっちゃ耳に残ります
「私は島崎健一です 昭和15年、1940年2月17日生まれ 辰年77歳 買い物は家から駅に向かうと ピーコックがあるのですが 外苑通りを渡った所にある ライフへよく行きます ライフの方が安いので」
本当に不動産の契約場面で

『もう、ええでしょう』は

Sleep deprivation alert 🚨
I know I’m an idiot…
but I couldn’t stop and ended up binge-watching Tokyo Swindlers on Netflix all night.
Way too many brutal scenes in every department, so definitely NOT something to watch with kids.
If those scenes didn’t exist, it would actually be a great family watch… but yeah, no choice—this one’s for late nights only.
First of all: the cast and the music are insane.
The soundtrack is by Takkyu Ishino, a true legend of Japan’s techno scene.
Even the dirtiest, most gritty scenes suddenly look stylish when that sharp techno sound kicks in.
Honestly, the music alone elevates the entire drama.
What makes it even more chilling is that it’s loosely based on real events.
Some locations are literally in my neighborhood, which adds an uncomfortable level of realism.
The other day I biked from Ebisu to Shibuya and passed the LIFE supermarket that appears in the show—
that moment really blurred the line between fiction and reality.
One line I can’t get out of my head is from the impersonator:
“My name is Kenichi Shimazaki. Born February 17, 1940.
77 years old. I usually shop at Peacock on the way to the station,
but I often go to LIFE across Gaien-dori because it’s cheaper.”
Do people actually get grilled like this during real estate contracts in Japan?
As someone who works in real estate… that scene hit a little too close to home.
And speaking of lines—
Pierre Taki’s delivery is unforgettable.
“もう、ええでしょう.”
(“That’s enough, isn’t it?”)
Instant classic. I’m absolutely stealing this phrase for future awkward situations.
That said…
If I ever had to deal with a Pierre Taki–style aggressive Kansai-dialect judicial scrivener at work?
Nope. Absolutely not. 😅
