関西のお店は即日完売
ネット販売も即日完売
でも、東京には在庫があるらしいから
もし近ければ買ってきてー！！！
と頼まれたので
近くに行ったら買うわ！
と言いつつ身体が動いて
依頼の30分後にはお店におりました
無事購入！
東京ではあんまり流行ってないんですね

毎朝万博オフィシャルショップに並んでるそうです
人気商品を買うのに、あべのハルカスのお店は整理券もらうのに4時台から並んでる！と聞きました

In Kansai, the Expo 2025 mascot Myaku-Myaku is hugely popular.
And now there’s also “Moss Kitty” —
a Hello Kitty plush dressed as one of the 32 types of algae featured in the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2025.
A friend from Kansai told me that the Moss Kitty released yesterday was sold out the same day in Kansai stores,
and even the online shop sold out immediately.
She said,
“Apparently there’s still stock in Tokyo…
If you’re nearby, could you get one for me?”
I replied casually,
“Sure, if I’m in the area!”
…but my body moved before my brain did 😆
I was at the shop within 30 minutes of the request.
Mission accomplished. ✔️
Interestingly, it doesn’t seem to be as popular in Tokyo —
there were still plenty left on the shelves.
Meanwhile, resellers had already started listing them on Mercari.
Apparently, the Myaku-Myaku fandom is full of resellers right now.
Some people line up at the official Expo shops every single morning.
I even heard that at the Abeno Harukas store,
people start lining up as early as 4 a.m. just to get a numbered ticket for popular items.
It’s such a strange but addictive character, after all.
