I can’t pretend I don’t think of these lyrics constantly. It’s from the song slowdive by pasteboard. I like the lyrics a lot. “Like the waves that repeat themselves on a winter night when the stars are falling” is so pretty. I think I lose the exact meaning in my translation. But the melancholic dreaminess of the words is roughly there. I wonder what the words not just really mean in Japanese but how they genuinely feel to somehow who speaks the language. I want to do this with more songs I like. I also want to learn more about the exact kanji in the lyrics here
