Welcome to a Vacuum Cleaner Battery specialist of the Husqvarna Automower Battery
With the warm weather upon us, now is the perfect time to make like Don Burke and get out into the garden. Whether you’re an experienced gardener with a green thumb or a newbie who wants to have a go at growing their own vegies, the latest in gardening technology can help give your plants a boost and keep your garden in tip-top shape.
This handy device can monitor everything your plants need (water, fertiliser, humidity, temperature and light) and via the accompanying free app (iOS and Android), provide specific care advice and plant-saving alerts. For example, it will send you an alarm if it senses overwatering, either via email or push notification.
Only one sensor is needed for all your plants — put the sensor on one plant and give it a fortnight, and it will have learned all it needs to know to provide you with accurate advice. The Koubachi supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 security, and every sensor has a unique 128-bit AES key. The sensor works with two standard AA batteries with like Husqvarna Automower AU-18C Battery , Husqvarna Automower AU-18V Battery , Husqvarna Automower 210C Battery , Husqvarna Automower 220 Battery , Husqvarna Automower 230ACX Battery , Husqvarna Automower 260ACX Battery , Husqvarna Automower G2 2004-2006 Battery , Husqvarna Automower SH Battery , Husqvarna Automower 540059601 Battery , iRobot Roomba 4905 WC Battery , iRobot Roomba APS 4905 Battery , iRobot Roomba Tenergy 11701 Battery , with one set included, which should last a whole year.
The lawnmower has gone high-tech — meet the Robocop of mowers. It’s certainly not cheap, but for those who take their lawn maintenance seriously, the 305 Automower is like a Roomba for your garden. It’s ideal for lawns up to 500m2 in size and its lightweight design makes it easy to move from the front yard to the back and vice versa.
Like a robotic vacuum cleaner, the mower is intelligent enough to make its way back to the charging station when required. It also features an easy-to-read backlit LCD screen and keypad, allowing you to adjust the timer and other settings. For security, the 305 Automower is even equipped with an anti-theft alarm and PIN code lock.
It’s important to stay hydrated when you’re out in the sun doing the gardening, which is where this handy multifunctional water bottle comes in. In addition to providing two different levels of filtration for your water, so you know you’re drinking the cleanest H20 possible, the bottle features a small storage compartment threaded onto the bottom and an LED flashlight adaptor (interchangeable with the storage cup) that can also turn be inverted to turn the bottle into a lantern or even a flashing strobe light for emergencies, making it the perfect companion, no matter where you are.
The bottle has a convenient hook for hanging and has a volume of 650mL, with the flashlight running off three AAA batteries.
This is an essential tool for anyone planning to start a vegie garden. The app is easy to use and will help you decide what to grow, along with the ideal time to plant. On the main screen, the app displays an alphabetical list of all the herbs and vegies that are ideal for planting in the current month.
Tap on a plant that takes your fancy and you’ll be provided with detailed growing tips, such as how much sunshine is needed, soil pH levels, harvest times and so on, as well as potential problems. From this list, you can add items that you’ve planted in your garden and monitor them in the ‘My Patch’ section, so you’ll know when it’s time to harvest.
This comprehensive app will help you figure out what to grow and when, keep track of your plants, read up on different species and solve everyday garden problems. However, our favourite feature is the Garden Visualiser, which allows you to picture how your finished garden will look.
All you need to do is take a photo of your garden, find the plants you’d like to grow and add them to your virtual garden. Need a little help? Sign up to become a member of the Yates Garden Club and you’ll be able to view inspiration snaps from other users’ gardens and submit your own. Of course, the app lists only Yates products, but feel free to use your own alternatives.
