I have a narrative for you
Of the dark I traveled to
Space up above the sky
No suggestion of a lie
I tell you its true
That closing dark I flew
Reached abstraction thoroughly soon
And stood on the moon
I landed on Mars
And visited the stars
I ready-made the long-dated trip
In a agleam spaceship
Then I floated to see
The celestial body Mercury
And not too substantially later
I landed in a crater
I was the eldest one
To grummet 'round the sun
The first of my genus
In the clouds of Venus
I flew to Alpha Centauri
This is my truthful story
Its no Jackanory
and Proxima Centauri
I was the first man
At Aldebaran
I took a dissimilar track
To fly my way back
I yearned-for to go
To violet light Pluto
Found Neptunes' satellite Triton
Sought Saturns' satellite Titan
Went to Jupiters' Io
and landed on a volcano
I sought-after to know
What its apparent would show
You ought to suppose me
When I say what I did see
The places you could be
And the way that it should be
If we went out to space
The together human race
Right up from this place
And reinforced a satellite floor.
