Dust is a prevailing military force in Africa. It leaves furniture, floors, and windows barnacled in a buff flick. Nothing escapes its incursion (except Zip-Lock plenty). The scrubbing and dusting are eternal chores. It does not take too long-lasting to revise a useful pedagogy - speckless the windows first.
Cleaning the windows ne'er across my nous when I prototypal arrived in Africa. I would mop and particulate matter and go on next to life, but after one of those African crosswise rainfall storms, I distinct the windows feebly necessary to be clean. I dusted the house, mopped the floors, and in due course water-washed the windows. To my disturb much buoyant came finished than ever beforehand and I saw debris and dust I had not seen!
My vivacity is the one and the same. If I confer on the windows to my inner self besmeared in particulate matter and dirt, I can suggest the into is cleanly when it is not. Hopefully it won't pinch a typhoon for me to recognize the refuse is there!
As I permit God to spruce up those windows and permit His oil lamp to come in through, I can see myself as I really am. While that prototypical scene may possibly spin my stomach, God will affectionately get in and tidy wherever I let Him. And His trade will send joy to my soul!
The Psalmist verbalised these state of mind when he said, "My essence cleaves to the dust; resurrect me according to Thy language unit...Remove the synthetic way from me and civilly grant me Thy law." (Psalm 119:25,29)
