I really loved the Princess Diaries books (come on, who doesn't?), but I also really liked her Mediator series. Anyone have a favorite Meg Cabot book? I read almost all book genres depending on my mood, but I prefer dramatic stories with strong feelings and vivid imaginations. I'm about halfway through and loving it. I originally planned there to be 8 books in the series in all. I'm in the middle of thirty different books right now and got all wadded up and confused, so I tossed it all to the winds for a week in favor of Meg Cabot's sfnal series The Mediator. I have to agree, Luisa - Isabel is scarier than any ghost! My fave of her YA is Darkest Hour and I can see some Stewart influence definitely. However, Suze has lots of practice fighting ghosts (they can touch - and therefore hurt Off topic, interesting to see the titles listed, here in the US they were all titled differently: Shadowland, Ninth Key, Reunion, Darkest Hour, Haunted: A Tale of the Mediator, and Twilight! Judul : Darkest Hour (The Mediator #4). Isabel is quite a hard character - she is not particularly likeable for the first part of the book; personally, I wouldn't like to fight her.
