It is well known that plants use birds to spread their seeds: birds eat their fruit; fly away; poops in distance; and the seeds grow up in distance.
Some researchers examined if the same strategy could be taken by insects. They found that some insects have egg shells strong enough to survive through the birds' digestive system. They even hatched after being eaten. After all, as plants do, insects might be flying from land to land with the birds.
