President Joe Biden announced he’s dropping out of the 2024 presidential race, following mounting calls from Democrats in recent weeks. ジョー・バイデン大統領は、ここ数週間で民主党からの撤退要請が高まったことを受け、2024年の大統領選から離脱すると発表した。
The president faced pressure to exit the race amid concerns about his age and ability to win in November after his disastrous debate performance against former President Donald Trump in Atlanta last month. 大統領は、先月アトランタで行われたドナルド・トランプ前大統領との討論会での散々なパフォーマンスの後、年齢と11月に勝利する能力への懸念の中で、選挙戦から退く圧力に直面した。

Democratic President Joe Bide announced that he would withdraw from the campaign. What a nice piece of news! The presidential race will probably become a contest between Kamala Harris and Trump! 民主党のジョー・バイド代表が選挙戦からの撤退を表明。なんとも嬉しいニュースだ！ 大統領選はおそらくカマラ・ハリスとトランプの争いになるだろう！
If Trump becomes president, it could be the end of the world, not just the United States. After a pinch comes an opportunity! I trust that American decency will prevail. トランプが大統領になれば、米国だけでなく世界が終焉を迎えるかもしれない。ピンチの後にチャンスあり！ アメリカの良識が勝つと信じている。

On July 22, 2011, Norway was the victim of two terrorist attacks, the first a bomb targeting government buildings in central Oslo, the second a massacre at a youth camp on the island of Utøya. 2011年7月22日、ノルウェーはオスロ中心部の政府庁舎を狙った爆弾テロと、ウトヤ島の青少年キャンプでの虐殺という2つのテロの犠牲となった。
