高齢になると転倒しやすくなると言われている。 私の場合は、幸いひどい転倒をしたことはない。 公共の場でも、自宅でも、階段の上り下りには、必ず手すりをつかむ。しかし、空間の遠近感不全のため手や足を家具やドアの角にぶっつけてひどい擦過を起こすことが多い。遠近感の不全は多分、左右の視力の差が大きいための不同視が原因だろうと思う。 このような擦過を防ぐために、夏でも風通しのよい長い下着を着るようにしている。 It is said that people are more prone to falling as they get older. In my case, fortunately, I have never fallen badly. I always grab the handrail when I go up and down stairs, both in public places and at home. However, due to a lack of spatial perspective, I often bump my hands and feet against the corners of furniture and/or doors, causing severe abrasions. The lack of perspective is probably due to the uneven vision caused by the large difference between my left and right eyesight. To prevent these abrasions, I wear long, well-ventilated underwear, even in the summer.
