So good to hear from you.
I did not experience rice paddies when I was in Japan. The words in the song you gave makes the activity seem very attractive, not hard work.
I've seen photographs of people working in rice planting, and it seems difficult. 注：田植えの歌詞は楽しそうだけど、写真でみるとたいへんみたい。
I'm "hanging in" which is what we say when we're doing the best we can no matter what our condition may be. I'm okay. Still going to art classes,
working on my computer, and participating in a variety of activities. My birthday is Saturday, 6/15. Believe it or not, I will be 99, or when you add it
together, it is 18. I find it incredible to reach that age. I ignore it. It's just a number. 注：例えば、Just hang in there for a bit longer（もうちょっとだけ頑張って）のように用いる。 ignore~=pay no attention to ~
