When you go to Karaoke, do you select your song by considering who you are with? I always do. Sometimes I consider companies' age, preference and their preference. It is mostly because I like "visual kei" and "vocaloid" which my companies don't know well..
I especially love vocaloid songs as well as singers called "utaite." These people sing vocalod songs most of which are really difficult to sing as they are not made for people. My favorite utaite is "Toyu-san" and "96neko-san". Their voices are beautiful and they are so good at singing.
When I go to Karaoke, I always want to sing these songs but most of my friends don't know about these vocaloid songs... So I voluntarily choose popular (though old) songs that others know well wether I really want to sing them or not :(
