その赤が印象的なデザインの、'90年代半ば～後半にリリースされた 9作品です。

9作品ともに、キャリアの長いミュージシャン/グループの作品です。

最もよく聴いた作品は、"④ Funkcronomicon"。Pedro Bell デザインのカバーには、半ば塗り潰された Funkadelic の文字が見えます。'90年代の P-Funk 作品として、Funkadelic / Parliament 空白期を埋めるかのようにヘヴィ・ローテーションしたものです。そしてまた作品④は、キャリアの長いミュージシャン/グループの新作を、手に取る契機となりました。

"⑨ Santana" は、タイのバンド Carabao が、'99年前後に製作した 4つのルーツ・ミュージック作品の 1つです。Santana に敬意を表した本作品は、ブラインド・テストをしたならば、十人中十人が初期 Santana と答えることでしょう。Santana が、東南アジアのミュージック・シーンに決定的な影響を与えたことが、よく理解できました。さらには、Carlos Santana 氏の新作を、手に取る契機となりました。
