napping red panda

I'm in Japan now, though I'm not doing much besides training. I get to go down to Okayama on Friday and, hopefully, I'll be in my apartment on Saturday.

Here's hoping!

My plane leaves for Japan on Friday night/early Saturday morning. I'll stop in Beijing for four hours, then go to Tokyo. I'll be in Chiba for a week, then go to Kurashiki, where I'll be working.

This past week has been busy. My company changed my assignment on me and I panicked...a lot.

Hopefully the next few days will be smooth.

I went downtown to the consulate today to get my visa papers taken care of. I'll go back down on Thursday to pick up my passport.

I fogot how dirty Los Angeles is. 映画

leaving colorado

These last few days have been hectic. My kouhai and I drove from Colorado to California. The journey was long and hot and tiresome. We were glad to make it to our destination, but it was sad leaving Colorado.

I'll go back, though. I like Colorado. It's quiet and relaxed and groovy there.

Now, my kouhai is headed back to Colorado and I'm here with my family for about two weeks. Hopefully my visa documents will arrive soon. I'm starting to get nervous. Okay, I already am nervous. I'm starting to get frantic.

Yesterday I went to the zoo with my kouhai. I was happy to be able to see my favorite animals again. It was nice to see all the babies that had been born over the last year growing and becoming adults. There were a lot more births when I went yesterday as well. I didn't get to see the baby snow leopards because they're still too young to be seen by the public. I hope they grow up well, since I won't be able to watch them.

I saw my friend off today. She's going to Japan sooner than I am, but we'll meet up in a month or so, and the internet makes it feel like you aren't really that far away from people, even if you are halfway around the world.

There's still lots of packing and cleaning to do before I leave my apartment on Wednesday and go visit my family. One of my suitcases is heavy. It will all work out, though.

Time for me to get back to packing!

I packed up my apartment all day, but there's still a lot to do. And, after I pack the house, I need to look at my luggage and sort things out agian.

My bags are too heavy and not everything is packed in them yet.

。・゚゚・(≧д≦)・゚゚・。

Packing is so hard! I hope this is the last time for a while.

Days are moving faster.

I move to Japan in less than a month and I still don't have everything ready. It's frustrating, but I'm trying not to panic.

I was grouchy by the end of the day. I started alright, but by the end I just wanted everyone to leave me alone and let me melt in my cave.

I'm starting in on my last week of work. Then I'll need to pack my apartment and move to California. Then I'll move to Yanai.

I have lots of doubts right now. Nothing huge, but small little worries that pester me before I go to sleep.

Things will work out, though. They have so far. Even the big worries are solved in a timely manner.

There will be no disasters.

I will survive this.
There's so much left to do!

My couch and my dining table are being sold on Thursday! I have to clean!

My fish are going on Friday. I have to get them ready and clean their tanks.

Saturday is...well, I don't think it's anything, but I'll want to do laundry. I really, really need to do laundry.

And I need to pack things and ship things.

And my plane ticket! I don't haev it yet!

*runs around in a panic*

12 days until I'm done with work!

25 days until I leave Colorado!

41 days until I leave for Japan!
