Not Fair

Ah, Gundam! I saw it on my vacation and was really moved. For some reason, I felt very safe near it. Ah, I thought, surely this will save me from anything.

Tomorrow, I will build the model kit I bought. It will be my first time trying to build one. I hope I do it right.

It's very late and I can't sleep. I want to be sleeping!

I am back from my trip to Tokyo.

It was SO MUCH FUN

I saw RENT, the Gundam, and Tokyo Tower. (The photo was taken from the observation deck at Tokyo Tower.)

The trip was good, but I'm glad to be back to my quiet town now. The city's too busy for me. (＃⌒∇⌒＃)ゞ

On Tuesday I will go to Tokyo!!!

I've been there before and, really, I don't really like it there, but I'm excited because....RENT I get to see my favorite musical again!

I also want to see the Gundam. I feel like a kid going to an amusement park.

Yesterday I went to the Fukuyama Masaharu concert at the Green Arena in Hiroshima city.

It was AMAZING

He played "milk tea" and I cried because I was so happy.

Driving Test = Failure

This is 可部駅. I went here on my way into the city today and thought the rolling clouds were beautiful. Usually I don't like Kabe but today I didn't mind it.

I had to go into Hiroshima to the Driving Center today.

I failed. 。・ﾟﾟ･(≧д≦)･ﾟﾟ･｡

It was only my first time, though.

Another Rain Song

Once again, it's Ves, reporting to you from Yoshida.

I didn't fall asleep until 7:30 this morning, and I woke up at 1:24pm. The heat makes it hard to sleep, but also my brain is busy at night.

Why is it so easy to let your mind wander at night? Maybe it's because of the quiet.

Anyway, I'm spending the day inside again because of rain. I'm running out of food, though. (＞_＜) I don't want to go to the grocery store! I don't like shopping for meals. It's boring and I can never think, "ah, this is what I'll cook this week."

Too much trouble.

Tomorrow I will go to the Driving Center again and take tests to transfer my license to a Japanese license.

What a bother.

Eclipse

Did you see it? Out here it was pretty cloudy, but we were able to watch the eclipse.

The last total eclipse this long was in 1991. To me, that event was more amazing. Maybe it's because I was younger then? The sky definitely was darker in 1991. Today it didn't get very dark. I was disappointed.

I've been lazy about writing.  (＞_＜) I'll try to be better now that it's summer.

I just received my copy of 雖然很芭樂 by 謝和弦.

Guys, it's AMAZING

If you can, definitely pick it up! It's Taiwanese, but even if you don't speak the language, I think you can appreciate how wonderful the songs are.

Please.....PLEASE...support this artist! I will be doing a review for this disc, I think. (Haven't done one in soooo long, I'm out of practice.)

morning thoughts

Have you ever wondered where you are going? It's so much more than just "to hte store and back." It's to the store, across the land, around a sun, through a cosmic space, and...somthing beyond. Every day, we go places we cannot even dream of being.

運動会

It's that time again, isn't it? Time for 運動会. In America, we call it "field day," but it's a lot different. We don't practice and parents don't come.

As I watch my students prepare, I'm really amazed at all the effort that goes into the event. It's pretty amazing.
