アル・タビーン学校での虐殺では、犠牲者の遺体が絡み合っていたので、作業員は遺体の身元確認や死者数の確認ができなかった。医療従事者は遺体を袋に集め、総重量を平均体重（70kg）で割って犠牲者の数を推定しなければならなかった。
