Event: Declaration on Future Generations

The Co-Facilitators for the intergovernmental process for the Declaration on Future Generations plan to convene a virtual stakeholder briefing on 12 June 2024, from 10:00am to 12:00pm [EDT]. This briefing is being held subsequent to the reading of REV.1 on 10 June, and will serve as an opportunity for the Co-Facilitators to provide stakeholders with an update on the intergovernmental process and receive their feedback.
Stakeholders interested in participating in the briefing are required to register via this link: Webinar Registration - Zoom. A link to the virtual meeting room will be shared with registered participants before the event. During the meeting, the Secretariat will indicate in the chat box how connected stakeholders can inscribe on the list of speakers.
To ensure equitable and effective participation, each stakeholder representative will be allotted two (2) minutes for their intervention. In preparing their interventions, we kindly encourage all speakers to reflect on the REV.1 of the Declaration on Future Generations which is accessible via the website.
