例年通り、世界野生生物デーは世界各地で対面式とバーチャル・イベントによって祝われます。
今年は、ワシントン条約事務局、国連開発計画（UNDP）、ジャクソン・ワイルド、国際動物福祉基金（IFAW）、WILDLABSとのパートナーシップにより、国連世界野生生物の日2024の公式祝典が開催されます。
United Nations World Wildlife Day (WWD) is celebrated every year on 3 March to celebrate wild animals and plants. Every year, we recognize the unique roles and contributions of wildlife to people and the planet.
The WWD2024 Theme is Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation.
The United Nations World Wildlife Day will be celebrated under the theme of “Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation” on Monday, 4 March 2024 from 10:00 – 13:00 (EST) in the ECOSOC Chamber, United Nations Headquarters, New York City. The provisional agenda of the event is included below for your information.
NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC with valid UN grounds passes for New York are invited to attend this celebration event. Registration is not required. Participation will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
As in the past years, World Wildlife Day will be celebrated with in-person and virtual events across the globe. This year, the official celebration of the UN World Wildlife Day 2024 will be hosted by the CITES Secretariat, and in partnership with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Jackson Wild, the International Fund for Animals Welfare (IFAW) and WILDLABS.
