UN Human Rights Council Side Event on Human Rights Violations in Afghanistan

On the occasion of the 54th Human Rights Council Session at the United Nations in Geneva, Human Rights Research League (HRRL) will organize a Side Event at the Palais des Nations, presenting findings from HRRL’s recent research project on Revenge Killings and other Serious Human Rights Abuses in the Aftermath of the Taliban’s Seizure of Power, and discussing the particularly challenging situation of women in the current climate of constant women’s rights abuses, including the denial of the right to education and serious limitations on the right to work bordering Gender Apartheid.

ジュネーブの国連での第54回人権理事会会期に際し、人権研究連盟（HRRL）はパレ・デ・ナシオンでサイドイベントを企画し、復讐殺人やその他の重大な人権に関するHRRLの最近の研究プロジェクトの結果を発表する。 タリバンによる権力掌握後の虐待、教育を受ける権利の否定やジェンダー・アパルトヘイトに隣接する労働権の深刻な制限など、女性の権利侵害が絶え間なく続く現在の状況の中で特に困難な女性の状況について議論します。
