ＮＨＫテレビ報道（2015年3月7日）によると、3月９日訪日予定の脱原発政策に転換したドイツ連邦共和国のアンゲラメルケル首相は、インタビューに答え、「ゾッとするような原発事故を連帯感を持って受け止め、より早く原子力から撤退する道を選んだ。」「日本も同じ道を進むべき」と、訪日中、日本政府に対してエネルギー政策の転換を呼びかける考えを表明した。

- 2.滞在中，天皇陛下は，メルケル首相を御引見になります。また，安倍晋三内閣総理大臣は，メルケル首相と会談し，夕食会を催す予定です。
- 3.メルケル首相の来日は，我が国とドイツ連邦共和国との親善関係を一段と深めるものと期待されます。

The Chancellor of Germany to Visit Japan
- 1. H.E. Dr. Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany will pay an Official Working Visit to Japan from 9, March Monday to 10, March Tuesday, 2015.
- During her stay in Japan, the Chancellor will be received in audience by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan. Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, will also hold a meeting and host a dinner with the Chancellor.
- The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the Chancellor, which will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the Federal Republic of Germany.
