Hi there! This season reminds me my story of finding a new room爆 笑

Now many Japanese people go to Vancouver, and some of them will look for a new room.

Let me explain about it.

1.注意点(日本と違うこと)

・They don't have any real estate agencies. You look for it by yourself

・Contact the landload via email, phone number

・Make sure what type of room and rules

You will text or send an email to the landlord and try to contact them. Mostly, your message will be ignored, but don't give upびっくりマーク

2.どこで見つけるの?

Craigslist Vancouver

JP Canada

Facebook

These are some website I really checked when I did it. Actually, there are more, but I focused on only three.

Craigslist is written in English, so it's good to practice. Also, the users aren't only Japanese. So if you wanna find a muluticultual enviroment, you should check it outニコニコ There are number of info.

JP Canada is famous for Japanese people in Canada. It's focused on Japanese people. So it's good for beginner.

But I think they don't have enough information.

Facebook, I mean Marcketplace. Not only the room, you'll see many tools, furniture.

3.いつから始めるの?

I started it one month before moving out, and visit many places. These days, the rent is increasing and many international students look for it, so it's kinda competition to get a nice one.

You should search it as much as possible.

あくまでも私の場合です。

I feel like it was really hard to do it by yourself, but you can do it!!!

Next time, I'm gonna share you what you should be carefulニコニコ
