Hi there! I'll talk about homestay
Now I live in a sharing house, but before this, I'd stayed with a Filipino family for a month.
My host family was a Filipino. The parents are from the Philippines, but their daughters were born in Canada.
They speak both English and their own languare.
It takes 30mins from downtown to their house, so I was lucky.
学校のクラスメイトには、１時間近くかけて通っている子もいました。
There were 4 Japanese people who were staying at that time. But the problem was I was only one female......
I didn't mind so much, but I really paied attention after I took a shower....
学校で手配をお願いしたのですが、なぜか私だけ女性になってしまいました。。。びっくりです。。。
ちなみに、ステイ先はランダムのようです。。。
でもほかの人たちは常識のあるいい人たちだったので問題はなかったです
If I'm not wrong, it cost $900 per month including 3 meals.
I think that was pretty reasonable.....
