バンクーバーの地形

Hi, there! Today, I'll explain about Vancouver.

We call here "Vancouver", but actually it's a quite large area. Then, I'm gonna show you the places.

This is the picture of around Vancouver.

As you can see, there is Whistler on the top. Whistler is famous for sightseeing and winter sports. In 2010, it held Olympic.

Also, there is Nanaimo on the left. Nanaimo is on the island.Do you konw Victoria? You can't see on the map, but it's the same island to Nanaimo.

And you can see the border in the south. Vancouver is close to the States.

Let's check details.

Vancouver is the name of city. Surrounding it, there're 5 cities. Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, and North Vancouver.

I'm gonna summarize the charactor of each city.

1.Burnaby（バーナビー）

One of the most popular cites where people live. There are huge shopping malls. It's convenient to live in. Also, you can take sky train to go to downtown.

2.Richmond（リッチモンド）

It has YVR(Vancouver International Airport). It's not far from downtown. You can take sky train. Richmond has a lot of Asian people. You can find Chinese restaurants.

3.Surrey（サレー）

It takes 40 mins from downtown, but it has the last station of sky train. There are so many Indian people living there.

4.Coquitlam（コキットラム）

You can go there by sky train from Vancouver. It's far from my place.

5.North Vancouver

You can go there by bus or sea bus. Sea bus is a kind of ship. You can enjoy the nature in Vancouver.

ざっくりと書きましたがこんな感じです。長くなりそうな気がするので、一回このへんで切りますね。次はもう少し各都市について詳しく説明します。
