Just a quick guesstimate of what I am wondering whether the next invite is going to be. In consideration of this updated DHA information, the number of invite will be 1,500 as it was supposed to be. I anticipated it would be 700 up to 1,000 until next June, but DHA may have decided to get the number back to normal, which is good for us.
As you can see from the above image, subclass 489 has already officially ceased, instead the new Skilled Regional (provisional) visa 491 will take into effect in two weeks time. For those seeking the possibility of getting invited as 189, the minimum point still remains 80/135, regardless of pro rata or non-pro rata occupations.
This minimum point is expected to be increased by 5 to 10 points which might immensely affect all of the listed occupations. By the same token, this anticipated surge will also significantly affect subclass 190 for all state nominations excluding perhaps ACT. If you are interested in ACT state nomination, please let me know so that I can probably give you advice in appropriate ways, by the way.
In order to increase your migration points, the best way to do is get 20 points from English exam score, which is 79+ in the PTE or 8.0 in the IELTS.
