Real Gone MusicからのデッドのDick's Picks再発シリーズ、Vol.12は1974年6月26日のプロビデンス公演のセカンドセットと、6月28日のボストン公演のセカンドセットを3枚のCDに編集したもの。1974年といえば、The Wall of Soundと呼ばれる巨大PAシステムによるショーが行われた年。また、この二つの公演を挟んだ6月27日にはスタジオアルバムの"From the Mars Hotel"がリリースされています。

KeyholeからのByrdsのアーカイブライブは1968年11月2日のAvalon Ballroom公演。メンバーは、Roger McGuinn, Clarence White, Gene Parsons, John Yorkというラインナップです。

Byrdsはこの数か月前にカントリーロックの名作"Sweetheart of the Rodeo"をリリースしているんですが、ここでの演奏は（いい意味で）とてもハードでラフ。特にクラレンスがパッキンパキンに弾きまくっていて、ストリングベンダーが炸裂しています。音質も良好（私は10年くらい前にネットから入手した記憶がありますが、まったく同じトラックリストなので、同じ音源だと思います）。
