歌のみならず、自ら演奏もするというガールグループを中心に集めたAce Recordsのコンピシリーズ、"Girls with Guitars"の第三弾がリリースされます（4月8日発売予定）。

LAのGirls、NYのGoldie & the Gingerbreads、デトロイトのDebutantes、シスコのAce of Cupsなどアメリカ勢のみならず、英国のJean & the Statesides、イタリアのHoneybeats、ニュージーランドのChicks、わが日本のPinky Chicksなど、ワールドワイドな選曲となっています。Brenda LeeとJackie DeShannonの英国録音の曲、およびDana Gillespieのトラックのバッキングには若き日のJimmy Pageが参加。珍しいところでは、ドゥワップのボーカルグループChantelsが演奏したインスト曲なんかも収録されています。
