QMS, IABDの「フィルモア最後の」ライブ発売

1971年のフィルモアウェスト閉鎖を前にして、6月29日（火）から7月4日（日）まで開催されたクロージング・ウィークでの、It's a Beautiful Day（7月1日）とQuicksilver Messenger Service（7月3日）の公演を収録したアーカイブライブが、いずれもCD2枚組でリリースされます（Keyholeから1月21日発売予定。同時に6月30日のBoz Scaggsのセットもリリース予定）。

この1週間の公演の模様は映画「フィルモア最後の日」（"Fillmore: The Last Days", 1972）に描かれ、2枚組の名サントラ盤も生まれました。クロージング・ウィークの出演者は以下のとおり。

July 4 (closing night): Santana, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Tower of Power, Other San Francisco musicians and all the good people (Michael Bloomfield, John Cipollina, Jack Cassady, Van Morrison, etc.)
