Greece Trip Day 5 Fira and Old Port

Down graded to our originally booked Nefeli, I still like this suite. Foivos is large and I couldn't keep track of my staff:)

Since we had to pack our staff, we decided to go out early and go to the volcano.

Walking down to the main part of Fira, we missed the cable car station and go back up so many steps!

Finally we found the enteance and here we go we are on the cable car!

Arriving at the old port, we had to kill two hours for the next ship. Not too bad because I found the nice sunglasses for only 8 euros! I almost pay for the same kind of design for $580:) Quite a lot of savings:) Not hungry, but we ordered calamari at the restaurant. Greek style, big squid.

Greece Trip Day 4 Dinner at Oia

We like to hop in different restaurants. We went to two restaurants and had dinner and drinks. My hub choose the first one as he was attracted to the music, nice jazz. Great food and service. Cheers! Kanpai!

We liked the first one better, but this has an astonishing view and food was very good, and nicely decorated.

Almost 11pm, we didn't know there was no more bus. It was hard to catch a taxi. We don't have any phone lines and couldn't call a cab. Luckily a nice driver offered a ride with another couple, and we are safely home (hotel). Hope Ken enjoyed his birthday.

Greece Trip Day 4 Oia's sunset

Ken wanted to stay at our hotel and chill out for his birthday. We took outside jacuzzi and I even swam in the pool! It was still cold, but I used to jump in cold pools as my gymnastics classes made us all my school years. A tiny pool, but I don't know if there will be the next time we stay in a room with a private swimming pool in the future. I've got to use it to get my moneys worth haha. We are musicians and not rich. This is our 15 year anniversary trip. We decided to go to Oia and have dinner. First we had to watch the famous sunset, which is known to be the best sunset in the world because of this wide horizontal line we can see almost 180 degrees unblocked.

Oh my god! This town is totally my taste! Every street is decorated the way I like. On the left, the shop called "ecru", I bought two silk dresses. I promised my husband that we can do anything he likes to do today since it is his birthday, but I broke the promise and spent half an hour shopping at this boutique :)

I didn't get to see much my taste town because it was already late. I've got to come back here!

Greece Trip Day 4 Ken's Birthday at Santrini

Happy Birthday to my lovely hub!

Beautiful weather, perfect for pictures.

We really need sunglasses. I am bummed that I lost them in the airplane:( Our eyes are always squinted in the pictures.

Actually we ate way more than that!

Cake time! It's early, but it makes us free after this. I don't know what he wants to do today. We may go out and come back late.

I just started writing blogs from this trip to save my phone's memory space by uploading pictures. It is totally my personal postings and not intended for public views, so please forgive me for my rough English. Bad grammars and typos:) It is much easier for me to type in English than Japanese. Japanese is required a lot of characters changes from hiragana to kanji. I'd better get off the computer and enjoy the beauty here.

Greece Trip Day 3 Thira

Day 3 in Greece is almost over. We walked down to upper Thira (Fira).

We had dinner watching sunset at Mama Thira restaurant. I read a Japanese man's blog, in which he suggested this restaurant. We just happen to find it.

Tomorrow is my husband's birthday. Dream luxury suite hotel is preparing a cake for him

Greece Trip Day 3 Santorini!

This is the true reason we came to Greece.

Finally we landed this dream like place, Santorini!

Dream Luxury suite!!!

We got a free upgrade from room Nefeli to Foivos. We waited in Nefeli until Foivos was ready.

After a couple of hours, Foivos is finally ready!

The size of this suite is three times as big as Nefeli and it has a swimming pool. Still chilly. I like Nefeli's jacuzzi, which we will experience the day after tomorrow.

Foivos has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

And yes! Outside heated jacuzzi!

Greece Trip Day 3 Breakfast

Everything went so smoothly this trip.

After we finished breakfast at the roof top restaurant in Royal Olympic Hotel, the cab driver we met yesterday was waiting for us.

Bye bye Royal Olympic Hotel! This hotel exceeded our expectations!

Greece Trip Day 2 Plaka Walk updated

After Acropolis, we went to Plaka.
The map is useless! A cab driver helped us where we were. He got a gig by helping us! He will take us to the airport tomorrow. Our agenda was easily accomplished; finding a driver, re-confirming the next hotel location and fish spa, which Kenny was looking forward to. Ancient buildings' remainings are seen between Europian buildings. It's Athen's unique character. Souvenirs are not too expensive and many choices. Good restaurants you can't find in our home town.

Fish spa was a great experience! Tiny fish eats up fungus or whatever of our feet and ticklish hehe. We can tell our feet got smoother!

Greece Trip Day 2 Acropolis

April 26th 2016

After breakfast at the roof top restaurant, we visited Acropolis. Listening to the bells, we are in Greece!

It is worth visiting here.
Impressive massive rocks! The scale is different.
Beautiful sceneries, we could see the water there.
It was soooo windy! Our hair got messed up, and we could hardly open our eyes. Shoes got dusty from the powder of remains. It was a photogenic weather, though,
Rocks were very slippery. We made it there!
