Last minute I decided to come with my hub to the recording session because the studio is very famous. First five Van Halen albums were recorded in this Sunset Sound! Not only Van Halen but also, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Doors, Elton John, Barry Manilow, Earth Wind Fire, Toto, Ringo, and so many other top legends recorded in this main room! He is hired to lay some solos on Tom Ciurczak’s 5th album.
Doors! Such a history
Producer, drummer, Steven in the back.
Cassette tape! I couldn’t take a good picture because of the reflection.
Rage Against Machine recorded here, too. I like the band
Led Zeppelin lV was sold more than 16,000,000 copies!
He chose to play inside of the mixing room so that he can hear what Tom wants. I was gonna take a picture of him playing but I didn’t want to bother the recording. Then already finished We got here little after 7PM but they were there from noon. Working 10 hours The producer was tired. Oh well, I couldn’t take the most important picture
Travis Carlton, Larry Carlton’s son, will play bass on the album. We hoped to meet him but he wasn’t there. Maybe next time.
Later Tom sent us some pictures. I am glad he took them
