社内の2.5GHz帯電波干渉がひどくなってきたので、昨日状況を調査していました。ただ、我々のように業務としてPSPやスマートフォンを取り使う場合、完全な解決は難しいですね。
利用可能な場所、フロアを隔離するとか、電波吸収体で囲まれた部屋を作るとかもありますが、それはそれで、なにか会社に壁を作るようで、我々にはあわない気がします。
そう言えば、09新卒のIshikawa氏が某オフィスに無線LANを導入しようとしていますが、最近は業者のサイトサーベイでもスペクトラムアナライザーを利用しない事が多いとか。依頼する側も、もはやある程度の不安定性が発生するのはしかたがないと考えている気がします。
さて、今週の記事は、今春エンジニアとして配属予定の二人の内定者バイトの方々。
就職活動の時期ということもあり、これまでの内定者バイトで感じたことなどを振り返っていただきました。それぞれ、固い印象のある某女子大と、オタク系大学出身という特徴が文章にも

I checked 2.5GHz wireless network performance and wave signal strength at our office yesterday, because we have some wireless LAN interference problems these days. However, I think it is difficult to fix this kind of problem completely if your company allow you to bring PSP or smart-phone like Android cell phone which will make 2.5GHz wave signal. One way to fix the problem is you should move all the people who use 2.5GHz device to isolated place. The other is to make a special room using radio absorptive materials. We don't like both two ways, because these will cause a lack of communication for co-workers in a business relationship.
Now I just remember, fresh engineer Ishikawa-san who entered our company 2009 is now considering to make a contract with one company to innovate wireless network to our new office. The company staff told us that they don't use a spectrum analyzer these days.
As you may know, If you want to make best wireless network system, you should use spectrum analyzer to find some radio wave device. I think most people give up to make troubleless wireless network system from the beginning.
Well, this weeks articles are posted by two part-time worker who will enter our company as a fresh engineer this spring.
I ask them to write an experience of doing this part-time job, because many university students are now applying for a job now. One female worker who will graduate from famous historic university. The other worker who will graduate from famous Otaku university. Both two materials have a characteristic style. I hope these article will be helpful for them.
