What are these plants thriving up there?
と言っても、正体はわかってます。
小松菜です。
I know.
They are Komatsuna.
こいつら、
元はスーパーの小松菜です。
Believe it or not, they are the ones regrown from the roots off a bunch sold at a supermarket.
たまたま根っこ付きのを買ったので
根っこを植えといたら
再生してくれて。
I happened to get one with some roots.
So I tried replanting it.
And it went far better than I’d expected.
They successfully got bigger and bigger, then bloomed and seeded by themselves, over and over, year after year.
それから何度も何度も 花が咲き
種が落ち
そして 勝手に芽が出て生えてくる。
の、繰り返し。
And they sprout like this.
And it seems to continue for ever.
It’s been several years, actually.
もう、数年くらいになります。
だからもはや
野生の小松菜
小松菜ってたくましいのねー。
I’d say, they are already back to wild.
How powerful they are!
セリも、元気に成長中
This one is seri, also doing pretty well here.
これも根っこから 再生しました。
きりたんぽ鍋のお取り寄せの時に
根っこを植えといたやつです。
I also replanted the roots.
It was among the set of Kiritanpo nabe I ordered on line.
私、植物育てるのが苦手なんだけど
こいつらはもともと スッゲー強いんでしょう。
強いやつだけが生きていける
それが、我が家の庭のおきて❓
Only tough ones can make it to survive.
That’s the rule here.
Honestly, I’m not good at growing plants and vegetables.
It’s just that these kinds are particularly strong by nature.
こんな庭でも 育ってくれて
