Now we are back in Wien again.

娘は一人で一部屋占領
時間が遅くて、あんまり残ってなかったけど…
おみやげにもいいですよ。

ウィーンに着いた〜

ウエストバーンは、
大体ウィーン西駅 Wien Westbahnhof
に着きます。
The train we took, Westbahn usually arrives at Wien Westbahnhof.
朝とか、夕方のビジネスアワーは、
ウィーン中央駅 Wien Hauptbahnhof まで乗り入れるやつもあるけど
Some do go up to Wien Hauptbahnhof, but most of them are apparently only during commuting hours.
我らの乗った列車は、ウエスト駅止まり。
ホテルは、Mitte Bahnhof そば
地下鉄でも移動出来ますが、荷物も多いので
そこからタクシーに乗ることに
Arriving at Westbahnhof, we took a taxi to the hotel.
We thought it would be easier for us with so much luggage.
テキトーに駅前でタクシー拾ったら、
この運ちゃんが めっちゃ運転荒くって❗️
Actually the taxi driver happened to be really short tempered.
Gee! His driving is just crazy!
血の気が多いらしく
すぐクラクション鳴らす。
He keeps madly honking to other cars, trying to cut in and everything!
しかも〜。
車内がありえないくらい汚い❗️
And, the car is incredibly messy!
サンドイッチかなんかの袋とか
その辺に置いてあるし、私物がいろいろ…
生活臭ありまくり…
日本では、絶対商売できないだろうなあ。
Snack packs and sandwich papers all over.
And the trunk is filled with his personal belongings.
I guess he might be living in his car.
He would never be able to do his business in Japan.
いやー、まいった、まいった…
そんでもって、怖かった〜。
It was so disgusting and so frightening.
ちなみに、ウィーンって交通量かなり多いので
運転は怖いです。
By the way the traffic in Wien is quite heavy and driving in the city is probably very difficult.
インスブルックや、ザルツブルクなら、
レンタカーで運転してもいいかも、
と思いますが、
It should be no problem renting a car and driving it yourself in Innsbruck or Salzburg.
ウィーンは、絶対無理レベル
まあ、公共の交通機関が便利だから、
レンタカーは、必要ないんだけど
その辺は、東京と同じ。
However, I’m afraid it’s almost impossible in Wien.
Well, it won’t be necessary to rent a car in Wien, as there is very convenient public transportation throughout the city, just like in Tokyo.

This is the room we stayed at Hilton.
It was very nice and comfortable, with the city view.

We were so much welcomed, as it was our second stay at the hotel in a very short term.

We got afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast inclusively at the same price!
ありがたく軽食いただきました。
We gladly enjoyed the afternoon tea, although there was not so much left because it was pretty late.

美味しかったわあ。

I like this little triangler sandwich made with pita bread.
This avocado cream is excellent!
And the Pettit Four is very nice too.
アボカドクリームが、いけてる〜❗️
一口サイズのケーキも、美味しかった。
晩御飯は、残念ながらパスしました。
予定があるのでね、ふふふふふ〜。
でも、夕食もきっと美味しかったんだろうなあ。
The dinner would have been delicious too.
But we had to miss it, because we had a very special plan that evening.

とっても美味しい〜。
おみやげにもいいですよ。
This is the complimentary from the hotel.
Wammer, a very popular snack in Austria.
There are various flavors, and among them I recommend the original Neapolitaner, many layers of wafers with hazelnut cream.
It’s also good as a souvenir.
So, this is the very last night in Wien.
